A little Bit about me
Hi! My name is Sarah; I am an information professional originally from the great state of Rhode Island. I spent my undergraduate years studying English Literature in Boston before moving down to Texas to pursue a graduate degree in Information Studies. After my wonderful time in Austin, TX the Atlantic Ocean was calling my name and I moved back east to New York City in 2018.
My desire to become an Information Professional was sparked by an interest in cultures differing from my own and a desire to make information accessible to people. I believe that the most important part of my job is ensuring that the voice the user is heard. During my time as a user researcher, I have worked a great deal on tools and processes that improve the lives of those working with and for differing organizations. I am most excited by my work when I can speak on behalf of the many personnel or user needs resulting in positive change for them and their daily lives.
When I am not at work, you can find me outside in my garden, booking a flight with my partner, on a walk with my dog, practicing Spanish or biking all over NYC. Thank you for stopping by to learn a bit more about me!
